Chris Morrissey and BC Catholic

Many of us from VancouverCatholic.com (the alternative to BC Catholic) are disappointed that C.S. Morrissey is permitted to write his nonsense on BC Catholic on July 7 2013 where he criticizes Father Barron

Many of you may not be aware that in the past C.S. Morrissey decided to criticize Pope Pius the XII

Mr. Chris Morrissey in 2000 published this offensive article in the Globe and Mail which the liberal Globe and Mail loved to publish. “Can’t a good Catholic still criticize Pius XII?”

In addition Mr. Chris Morrissey said this about Michael Coren.

“Mr. Coren’s cheap psychoanalysis”.

I hope people do some research about Mr. Chris Morrissey before they listen to his talks.

Now Chris Morrissey is criticizing Father Robert Barron? Chris Morrissey is not good enough to untie Father Barron’s sandals.

Father Barron reaches out to millions and brings them to Christ. Now that Chris Morrissey has criticized Father Barron there is the danger that those who don’t know Father Barron might not accept his call to come to the Catholic Faith.

How come Chris Morrissey does not criticize those on the left and those who are pro abortion or gay marriages? It is very tragic that Chris Morrissey uses his post secondary academic skills in philosophy to hide his liberal and left-wing agenda that consists in cheap shot diatribes.

Let us leave you with a good description of Chris Morrissey’s disgraceful schemes.

Dissimulation is a form of deception in which one conceals the truth. It consists of concealing the truth, or in the case of half-truths, concealing parts of the truth, like inconvenient or secret information. Dissimulation differs from simulation, in which one exhibits false information. Dissimulation commonly takes the form of concealing one’s ability in order to gain the element of surprise over an opponent.

Francis Bacon has the following to say on the distinction between simulation and dissimulation, “Dissimulation, in the negative; when a man lets fall signs and arguments, that he is not, that he is… Simulation, in the affirmative; when a man industriously and expressly feigns and pretends to be, that he is not.”

Join many good Catholic Citizens and contact the Bishop Miller and demand that BC Catholic ceases and dessists in publishing this type of offensive and dark articles.
